Miles Ratima
Miles Ratima, just happy to be surfing. Miles does it all from riding his stand up paddle board from Outsides through to Manu Bay, big snaps under the lip at Indicators on a retro twinnie, slipping in to dredging barrels or being towed in to offshore monsters. Miles does it all, in a quiet and unassuming manner. Miles' surfing really starts to shine when others prefer to watch.
Mikey Banks
Mikey Banks one of New Zealand's most explosive short board surfers around. Mikey knows no bounds with his surfing and gravity what is that. A dynamic short boarder who is the fear of any competing surfer when they meet up when he does compete. Mike's forte is free surfing and seeing how far you and your board can go. A total asset to the Byrning Spears team with constant cutting edge short board feed back.
Ray Finlay
A rare combination of short and long boarder. Fish or rounded pin, I like to ride them all and surfing almost daily allows me ride a fish then come in a ride a mal. Riding different types of boards for different occasions allows me to keep my mind open and fresh on design .
